Student Artwork on Display at Cape Ann Museum
Artwork by students in Pre-K, grade 3 and grade 4 will be on display at the Cape Ann Museum during the month of April.
Fourth grade Seascapes were inspired by a visit to the Museum, where they had a chance to see the work of Fitz Henry Lane. Students also studied the work Stuart Davis, Winslow Homer, and the French impressionists.
Third grade collagraph skylines were created using a variety of processes and materials. Inspired by their classroom study of cities, these imaginative city skylines are the product of each student's individual creativity.
Pre-K artwork includes Andy Warhol-inspired Flowers, Jackson Pollock-inspired Paintings, Wassily Kandinsky-inspired Abstract Paintings, Piet Mondrian-inspired Compositions, monoprints, and clay fish.
Each student was given a pass to take home with them from school. Please present this pass when entering the museum at the front desk.
