20th Annual Wild Boar Golf Tournament

Dear GUS Community,

I am writing to invite you to participate in the 20th Annual Glen Urquhart School Wild Boar Golf Tournament at the Essex County Club on Monday, October 5th.  Although the event will look slightly different this year (as do most things!), we are so excited that we are able to hold the tournament, and hope everyone can find a way to participate.

While we are all learning to navigate the current environment, an event like this is crucial in so many ways: it allows us to participate in traditional events; it enables us to connect with friends; and most importantly, it raises important funds for Glen Urquhart School. At a time when so much about what lies ahead is unknown, being able to produce the Wild Boar Golf Tournament is more important than ever for GUS.

Whether or not you are a golfer, there are plenty of ways to support the event:

  • Put together a foursome and play!

  • Tell friends and family who play golf about this great opportunity to play at a Top 100-ranked course

  • Sponsor a hole (details on the GUS website)

  • Bid on some Golf Experiences (bidding will be available on line) 

  • Donate to the “Wine Pull” – always a fun addition to the event

We hope you will play or participate in some way in the Wild Boar Golf Tournament, which is one of our most enjoyable annual traditions. Your generous support of the Wild Boar Classic helps GUS as we adapt to new ways to engage students and create a dynamic learning experience.
